Training and capacity development
Building the capacity of and training GRAG’s target population is key for delivering the right messages and information. GRAG will be collaborating with its strategic partners to conduct training, in specific countries where gender and sexual-based discrimination is prevalent, to bring behavior change and social acceptance within the social groups. Our training and capacity building activities are:
- Working community members (civil society/community based organizations, etc.) to understand, support and educate minority groups.
- Design capacity building program including different modules for subpopulations among minority groups (IDU, PLHVA, adolescent girls/married, etc.).
- Provide comprehensive advice and technical support to governments, donor agencies and corporations involved in programs and initiatives targeting minorities.
- Develop training material and guidelines for health professionals to provide psychosocial assistance to women, men, and children.
