Our commitment to creating positive social change begins with conducting quality research studies which result in findings that lead to effective program initiatives. Our research interests are determined by our target groups/communities and the health issues which concern them. Working with experienced researchers and the community, GRAG utilizes scientific and applied research methods to not only identify the key factors which propagate poor reproductive health outcomes, but also the behaviors/practices that can prevent or change the present conditions. As a part of this initiative, GRAG will:

  • Develop and propose a variety of research designs/methods including a prospective, experimental or quasi-experimental approach.
  • Conduct research on the specific needs of GRAG target groups.
  • Establish indicators and measure impact.
  • Promote an environment that fosters minority groups’ participation in programs targeting them.
  • Document all GRAG research processes and disseminate related findings and lessons learned.
  • Develop a culture of research utilization within our organization and with partners.
